Gifting a smile

Collaborated with a team of 11 SUTD freshmore students to conceptualise and build a public installation with letterboxes representing different countries. 

 

In this project, my specific contributions were:
• Designing and building 12 different letterboxes, drawing on cultural references and the iconic scenery of the countries for their designs
• Drawings were done on Adobe Illustrator, engraving and cutting was done with the GCC LaserPro Spirit GLS laser engraver

 

Project was a public installation for the Urban Redevelopment Authority’s PARK(ing) Day 2017 event, which aimed to transform parking spots in the city area into vibrant public spaces for a day.
