(Short for Medicine Donation And Disposal)

This is my engineering design project, where my team and I sought to design and build an automated medicine sorter to help democratise access to OTC drugs.

​

My role as the hardware engineer was to first figure out the sorting mechanism. However, Circuit Breaker happened and the change in project requirements forced me to learn CAD animations.

Overarching Takeaways

  1. When hardware prototyping becomes inaccessible (E.g. Circuit Breaker), an animation is a decent backup plan.

  2. Mastering the art of the teleconference is more crucial than ever for any successful team, especially as remote work (in some shape or form) is likely here to stay.
