hand hygiene inspector (h2I)

H2I is the name of the prototype built by a healthcare tech start-up created by my friends and I.

Why did we do this?

My team and I strongly believe that a patient should never have to enter a clinic for one illness, only to leave with another. Unfortunately, that is the harsh reality of healthcare-associated infections we still see around the world.

This is our attempt at using tech to minimise that.

How did it go?

(2020) Our team won 1st place and $50K SGD in the Create4Good Social Innovation Challenge to launch our start-up.

(2021) With our patent application pending, our team ran a 3-month pilot study at Punggol Polyclinic to test the operating model and gather feedback from patients and doctors.

(2022) Failed to gather sufficient traction and buy-in from investors - on indefinite hiatus.
